Ritar use the latest 'Absorbed Glass Mat' (AGM) Technology. They still have a GEL electrolyte, but the Gel is absorbed by the Glass Matt wrapped around the internal plates. These batteries are far more resilient to Extreme Cold weather conditions than convernional Gel
