The 40Ah has exactly the same dimensions and performance as the 42ah

AGM stand for 'Absorbed Glass Mat' The battery plates are wrapped in the Mat and the Gel Electrolyte is Absorbed. AGM is the latest technology and gives more tollerence to temperature extremes (winter/Summer)
